THREE OPTIONS TO VOTE:

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, September 1. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Your voting location may have changed since the last time you voted - so be sure to check your polling place before you go.

In order to vote by mail, you first need to request a mail-in ballot. There’s not much time left to do so! Don’t delay — if you haven’t already requested or received one, click here to request yours today.

Once you’ve received your ballot and completed it, there are three options to return it:

1.

Use the return envelope that was included with your ballot to send it back to election officials. Because the mail may take some time to arrive, it’s important that you do this as soon as possible.

Hand-deliver your mail-in ballot to your local elections office (usually a city/town clerk).

Ballots must be received by Election Day, and hand-delivering is the best way to make sure your vote counts. Click here to find your local election official’s address, hours and contact info.

Bring your ballot to an early voting location — see more info below.

In most places, you can vote several days before Election Day at your local city/town hall. Some cities and towns may also offer early voting at other locations, for your convenience.

This is a great option for three reasons:

• You’re less likely to have to wait in line when you vote early.

• You can pick a time that fits your schedule, including weekend dates in most towns.

• If something unexpected comes up on the day you planned to vote, you don’t have to stress — you can go the next day instead.
